Tammy Slaton came off as very problematic during her debut on 1000 Lb Sisters. No matter how many times her family and her doctors pushed her toward weight loss, she always relapsed. However, the new season is promising a change from her side. The trailer for the show had Tammy in rehab, where she declared she wanted to work on herself. However, before that happened, the celebrity had to go through something quite traumatic. As per People’s sneak peek, Tammy had to go to the hospital immediately. It happened after she “quit breathing.” Even her sister, Amy, stated that her “body was shutting down,” and they feared that she won’t be able to make it and lose her life.
Hence, this was a major wake-up call for Tammy to get her life back on track. There was also a conversation between her and her surgeon Dr Eric Smith. She wanted him to say that he had “approved” her for surgery. But, the doctor said that Tammy would still need to reduce a hefty amount of weight before they could go through with the procedure. This is because there are a lot of health risks for the castmate owing to her weight. Hence, the upcoming 1000 Lb Sisters Season 4 will have her overcome all these tough obstacles to finally inch towards a healthy way of living. So, the fans are very excited to see that.

While Tammy will be going through a life-changing phase in the new season, Amy also has her fair share of adventures. She finally announced with her husband, Michael Halterman, that they were expecting baby number two. It turns out that Amy had to undergo troubles during her first pregnancy as she had just had her bariatric surgery. So, her doctor had given her the advice to shed a few more pounds before she started her motherhood journey. Well, things didn’t turn out that way, and Amy got pregnant once again. The same teaser revealed that the doctors were concerned about her second pregnancy. Well, the main concern was the fact that Amy was still “morbidly obese”.
Soon, the clip also showcased the young mother undergoing ultrasounds. However, it wasn’t a joyful moment for Amy. That’s because she was crying in one of the clips. Well, the teaser didn’t reveal the reason behind it, but the audience was in a worrisome state after the celebrity admitted to being in pain.
