1000 Lb Sisters: Amy’s Family Mixed Emotions About Her 2nd Pregnancy
Amy Slaton has been sincere towards her weight loss journey. Also, she achieved her goal much before her sister Tammy. And also got to qualify for her bariatric surgery before the infamous sibling. Now she’s happily raising her first child, Gage. However, it’s been a year having Gage, and the reality TV star took to Instagram to share shocking news. She posted a photo of Gage, and in the caption, she said that his younger sibling was on the way. More so, Gage’s t-shirt said, ‘I’m going to be a big brother, 2022.’
However, in an exclusive promo clip by HL, the Slaton family gave mixed emotions. Amanda took a playful dig at Amy and asked her what was with an ovulation kit in the bathroom. Then, Amy’s cheeks flushed red, and she said she was trying as her ovaries were getting old. The 34-year old added that she doesn’t want to be old when she has a second baby. However, her sister Misty affirms her worry and feels that it may not be the right decision at the time. That’s because Amy is struggling with her weight, and second pregnancy could complicate the situation. Also, Amy’s first pregnancy was risky. That’s because her doctor told her to wait for at least two years after her surgery to get pregnant. However, she didn’t listen to him.
Sister Wives: Dr. Procter Is Not Happy With Amy’s Progress
1000 Lb Sisters fans are in worry after Amy’s second pregnancy news. More so, they believe that the younger sister should be careful about her health. Also, the upcoming episode’s teaser by People showcased dr. Procter is not happy with Amy’s progress. Amy went for her annual check-up. And admitted that her doctor would not be satisfied with her result. That’s because she hasn’t been keeping a check on her weight. Furthermore, upon checking, her weight was 275 lbs, but it should be 250 lbs. In addition, Procter said in his interview that Amy’s progress had disappointed him.
The doctor advised Amy not to get pregnant and maintain a gap before the second one. More so, her sister Misty said the same to her. She also asked Amy to consult her doctor first.
