1000 Lb Sisters: What Was The Inspiration Behind Amy Naming Her Kids?
In an exclusive clip shared by ET from an upcoming episode of 1000 Lb Sisters, Amy revealed an interesting fact. Amy and her siblings were on a haunted tour in London when the guide asked them whether they were interested in the supernatural. Hearing the question, Amy excitedly shared that she named her kids, Gage and Glenn, after horror characters.
The tour guide confirmed that Amy was in the right place. Amy took inspiration from famous possessed kids in horror films and books for her boys’ names. Glenn is named after Seed Of Chucky, while Gage was taken from Pet Sematary. There is no doubt that Amy is very interested in spooky things. She is a big horror fan of all time.
Amy even has a tattoo of The Nightmare Before Christmas protagonist Jack Skellington on her arm. Just like her, her ex-husband Michael Halterman is a fan of horror. The couple loved Pet Sematary and its antagonist. Hence, they were highly inspired by it when deciding their child names.
Although Amy has honored her favorite horror characters by naming her boys after them, she should have a second thought. The names she has chosen belong to characters with disturbing storylines in horror books and films. Hence, these could affect her sons as they grow up.
