Not so long ago in the reality TV series, Amy and her husband Michael moved into a new place. It was the right decision as they were expecting a baby together. Through the years, Amy had poured her heart and soul into taking care of her elder sister, Tammy. With a baby on the way, she began focussing on her own family. Hence, they moved. Although the purpose of moving was to provide a safe environment for baby Gage, the opposite of that happened.
A fan made a very disturbing observation in the recently televised episode of 1000 Lb Sisters Season 3. Looks like when Amy was shooting her interview segment, a cockroach was crawling in one of her walls! In no time, they uploaded the video on Reddit, and fans bombarded the threat with their comments. TV Season Spoilers reports that a lot of them were very disgusted by the discovery. Many said they are already undergoing a cockroach infestation in their house but don’t know it yet.
Some other worried fans talked about their baby, Gage. They believed cockroaches had also infiltrated his crib by now. Hence, the family should really take care of it. In one of the episodes, Amy called home organizers to tidy up her house. However, she was shocked to see how unsanitary her place turned out to be during the cleaning process. Apart from cockroaches, the team also discovered dead mice! Unfortunately, her husband tried to brush the issue off by saying people deal with lifeless rodents all the time in their houses. Fans didn’t support this argument.

Before this sickening infestation reveal, fans had already called Amy out. Before the show began to premiere, the TLC star was posting a lot of pictures of her baby in the new house. However, this didn’t land well with the fans. That’s because they also got to witness her poor housekeeping skills in the posts. In fact, one such post caused a massive uproar among the fans. It started when Amy posted a picture of her newborn son lying on the floor. Unluckily, she hadn’t put out a blanket or a cloth of some kind underneath him.
Fans used the comments section to tell the new mom how unsanitary this act was. Moreover, they also claimed that she is putting her baby at risk for resting him on the floor that contains tons of bacteria and germs. Halterman didn’t reply to any of the trolling or negativity.
