The younger Slaton sibling has been married to a loving husband. That’s because Michael Halterman understands what Amy wants. Moreover, he always checks up on her diet and helps her lose weight. Besides that, Amy’s husband has always supported her whenever required. Hence, the reality TV star wants the same for her infamous sibling. Amy wants Tammy to find happiness with a guy similar to her husband. That is why Amy never supported Tammy’s choices in guys. The 1000 Lb Sisters star said she knows how her sister loses herself when in a relationship. Tammy Slaton tends to put her heart and soul into a relationship.
Moreover, the guy Tammy has dated hasn’t brought out the best in her. Well, Tammy recently dated a guy who allegedly had a fetish for “bbw” or big beautiful women. Therefore, Amy wants Tammy to meet a person who wholeheartedly supports her. Referring to her sister’s rehab condition, the younger sister feels that Tammy is in the right place. However, it is a bit isolating, but it is for her best. Also, the 34-year-old didn’t like Tammy’s crowd either. She said all they do is a party. It looks like the 1000 Lb Sisters have started to be pretty serious about their future. That’s because Tammy is in rehab to declutter her bad habits and food addiction. As for Amy, she has started to eat healthy again. In her interview with TheSun, she said that she’s been trying to lose 100 lbs more. Furthermore, she has also spoken to her doctor about it, and he has given a clean chit. Amy’s doctor has told her that she can lose weight until the baby gains weight. Hence, with the help of her son Gage, Amy has started to contribute to green and boiled foods.
Meanwhile, as Amy’s lifestyle changes, her responsibilities are also increasing. The younger sibling says she may quit the show for season four. That’s because Gage wants her in his sight most of the time. More so, with the second baby, things will get more crowded. Also, Amy feels like a bad mother for not catering to her kid’s needs due to filming. However, if the show’s producers can cut down her hours, she can return.
