Being a reality TV star isn’t as easy as everyone presumes. Once you get into the limelight, each and every one of your actions is judged and criticized by people. The same happens with TLC’s popular show 1000 Lb Sisters fame Tammy Slaton and Amy Slaton Halterman. Over the years, the two sisters have received immense love and support. However, despite everything, they’ve also come across an ample amount of hate.
Only recently, Amy revealed that his newborn baby boy had green beans for the first time. As soon as her social media posts went online, fans started criticizing her for feeding her baby at such a young age. In fact, people went as far as calling her a “bad mom” and said that she’s trying to make Gage “fat” like herself and her sister. Here’s what she replied to the bullies.
1000 Lb Sisters: Amy Slaton Claps Back At Mean Comments Saying She’s Making Her Baby “Fat”
While people usually make a lot of mean comments online, the bullies crossed the line when they called Amy a bad mom. They also alleged that she’s trying to make her baby son fat, which is extremely insensitive to say to a mother. Amy has struggled with weight all her life and is finally back on track and has shed a lot of pounds in the last few months. She previously clarified to the people who were concerned about Gage that she would never do anything to harm her own child.
On the other hand, as soon as the controversy broke, Amy took to her social media to clarify her actions. She verified that Gage’s doctors advised her to feed him green beans, and they said that it’s totally safe to feed him at this age. Other mothers also supported her in the comments. However, she later shot another video of her little boy feeding him his baby formula. The new mom talked about how she’s not feeding Gage any vegetables or fruits, and it’s just the beginning of solid foods now. On the other hand, Amy also clapped back at haters for judging her. The little celebrity looked extremely adorable while eating his food.
1000 Lb Sisters: Amy Turns Off Comments On Her Posts To Avoid Haters
Well, it’s obvious that the amount of hate Amy received could be very harmful to a new mom. The 33-year-old is being judged for every action, and it’s quite hard to handle all that criticism. Hence, Halterman has now switched off the comments on most of her social media posts. People can no more comment on her recent video where she’s feeding dinner to her little one. This will avoid the haters and help her take care of her child better.
