She explained that she was still in the process of rebuilding her life after the drug addiction. June continued to explain that she wasn’t in a position to pay even half of her college tuition. However, Pumpkin interrupted and said that Alana only needed money for the first semester. June stated that she had a Coogan account but her daughter won’t be able to access the money until she turns 21.
She also promised to talk to the bank about a solution. Pumpkin and Honey Boo Boo left their mother’s home thinking that she has been avoiding contributing money. Alana went on to accuse her mother of prioritizing her husband’s chain over her daughter’s college fees. Later, Mama June and Justin had a heart-to-heart discussion about the whole situation.
The former stated, “Pumpkin may be mad, and I’m sorry, and the world may be mad and think that I’m the worst person ever.” She went on to reveal that she had been lying to her daughter about the Coogan account. The WeTV star confessed that she had lied about Alana not being able to access the money until she turned 21. Shannon expressed that she lied to Alana so she wouldn’t blow up the money.
