The latest General Hospital spoilers suggest that Drew Cain will be escaping a foreign prison to return to Port Charles. And he will be all bloody and bruised as he escapes. General Hospital is trying very hard to keep the news of Drew’s comeback a secret. However, General Hospital insiders are very sure that Cameron Mathison is coming to Port Charles to play Drew Cain.
Billy Miller previously played the role of Cain. But now, it will be played by Mathison. When Mathison took onto his Instagram to post a picture of him with a bearded and bruised face, it kind of gave us a hint on what could be coming up next. Keep reading to know all about it.
Leaked Script Reveals Details
It looks like the first time viewers will get to see Drew, he will be stashed in a foreign prison. He will be cuffed after one of his many beatings. His life hasn’t been easy being locked up, but he might just be hanging there with the hope to survive. The leaked script indicates scenes with a guard and a prisoner where the two of them are conversating. It is possible that this prisoner could be Drew Cain.
As per the script, the guard informs the prisoner that the “Boss” has a very big reach. Then, the guard pressures the prisoner to tell him how did he come to know where the boss was. It looks like this prisoner was pulled out of the ocean, survived the crash, and was placed where he is without anyone knowing that he is still alive.
The script reveals that the guard will warn the prisoner. He will tell him that the “Boss” has pulled a number of strings to get the prisoner where he is now. And, the boss would not even think twice about killing someone if they tried to find the prisoner. The prisoner informs the guard that he just needs a ride to the airport and know the name of the person who is keeping him hostage for the past couple of years.
General Hospital: Drew Is Back!
So, it looks like this would be Drew Cain’s storyline. He might escape the prison and come to Port Charles looking for his loved ones. Viewers would remember that when Drew Cain’s plane went down, he was around the Gulf of Aden. That time he was on the way to return the dirty money. Viewers would also recall that after Shiloh threatened to expose Peter, he arranged everything to make sure Drew’s plane got crashed. And just like Sonny, everyone thought that Drew was dead.
Drew is definitely coming back, and it will be interesting to see how and what happens there. He will indeed want revenge from whoever was holding him hostage. Then, he might also rekindle his romance with Sam McCall. It looks like everything will be very exciting there. While we don’t know when Drew’s episodes will start airing, we can hope to see him around August. General Hospital films the episodes beforehand. We will get more information about this as days pass.
