All the General Hospital fans, this is good news for you. Actor Chad Brannon is coming back to Port Charles. This February 15, Chad Brannon took on to Instagram to share some pictures that confirm his return to General Hospital. Along with the photos, he also posted a video of his comeback to the soap opera. In the clip, viewers can see him joking as he walked. He says he is walking to someplace little familiar. Continuing on, he says Oh Boy, General Hospital, here we come. He went on to say that General Hospital shares studio space with Grey’s Anatomy asking everyone, isn’t that nice?
While we don’t yet know what character the Daytime Emmy winner would play, Soap Opera Digest recently reported that he would come in to make a guest appearance sometime in mid-march as Zander Smith, the ill-dated father of Elizabeth’s son- Cameron. This seems like the right cue, William Lipton, who plays the character of Cameron, called his on-screen father a legend.
It is possible that Brannon would appear on the show as a vision or a ghost, maybe to either Liz or Cameron, who are dealing with some serious problems. Both the characters are grappling with the possibility that their husband and stepfather- Franco, might get back into his homicidal tendencies because of the brain tumor.
The last time we saw Brannon was back in 2004. Ever since then, he has been a part of series like Cold Case and Friday Night Lights. He had started his career as a voiceover artist. This comeback will bring in a twist on the soap opera indeed. We will keep you updated with all the news as it comes; stay tuned. General Hospital airs on ABC all weekdays.
