Michael further explained that TLC spends $250,000 to $400,000 on each episode of the show. This implies that the family should be making around $25,000 to $40,000 per episode. Moreover, the show has had six episodes in the sixth season as of now. This estimates to a total of $150,000 or $240,000 for the entire season. And if we take all the six seasons with 13 episodes each into account, the total would be more than $50,000.
