In a story filled with legal issues and talk about their relationship, Hailey Bieber has become the center of attention. Her problems with trademarks now suggest there might be some issues in her marriage to pop star Justin Bieber.
It all started with some surprising news from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. They said Hailey decided to give up her trademark for “Hailey Bieber” in 2021. This made people wonder if the couple’s marriage was on the rocks even before everyone found out.
As we all know, Justin and Hailey Bieber had a secret wedding in 2018 in a New York City courthouse. Soon after, Hailey Bieber filed for the trademark “Hailey Bieber” in October 2018. However, after the trademark expiration in 2021, the supermodel made no efforts to renew it. According to the reports, Hailey’s trademark was abandoned because no “statement or use of the request timely filed after Notice of Allowance was issued.”
This made people wonder what prevented her from going with the trademark. Some also wondered if their relationship wasn’t working just after they said, ‘I Do.’ But it doesn’t end here! It gets even more interesting when we find out that Hailey had also let go of her old name trademark, “Hailey Baldwin.” With two trademarks gone, people started asking questions about Hailey’s intention to run her business and her relationship with Justin.
Interestingly, amid this, Hailey started a skincare business called Rhode, named after her middle name. However, she was accused of copying the tradename. Even with all the legal problems, Rhode did well in 2022. This showed Hailey Bieber’s new side amidst her personal struggles. Adding to the confusion, the supermodel’s dad, Stephen Baldwin, posted cryptic posts on social media asking for prayers for the couple. Not only this, a few days ago, Hailey Bieber attempted to shut down the rumors again.
In her Instagram story on March 5, Hailey called the rumors ‘blind items’ and completely false. “Just FYI, the constant ‘blind items’ I see on TikTok are 100% of the time wrong. Made out of thin air, Come from the land of delusion…So I know it may be fun feeding into these stories, but I just know they’re always false. Sorry to spoil it,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
