Counting On: Amy Is In Contact With Jill Duggar
In the interview, Amy said that everyone is on their own path, doing things differently. She added that she is at a different place and peace. At the same time, she wished happiness for all the Duggars. Amy also revealed that she is not in touch with a few family members. However, she is in contact with Jill Duggar, who has recently broken off from her family. The two cousins talk via texts quite often and ‘discuss things.’
Amy Responds To Questions On Jessa And Josh Duggar
Amy responded to the question of Jessa Duggar’s son Henry’s delayed speech. She hoped the best for the little one and wished all the best to the entire family. While the interview touched upon her opinion on Josh and Jed Duggar’s dreams of having a career in politics, Amy gave a candid reply. She said that she hopes that the two do best at whatever they choose to do in their lives.
Amy Is Happy Being A Mom, A Wife, And Now, A Business Owner
Amy married her husband, Dillon King, in 2015. The couple welcomed their first child together, Daxton Ryan King, last October. Amy shared that she is happy at where her little family is heading. The new mom explained that she has a nine-month-old child, a flourishing restaurant business, and a boutique. She is content with where she is and loves to be free at her safe place. Amy continued that ‘TV is just a whole lot of the hustle and bustle.’ She further added that it could affect the perception of anyone in the eyes of the audience.
Counting On: Amy Was A ‘Rebel?’
Amy opened up about her ‘rebel’ status in the Duggar family in 2016. She said that she loves her family. However, she is not born to live exactly the way they do. The famous cousin of Duggars also shared that “growing up was all about shorts, tank tops, country songs, and boyfriends.” This was something Duggar clearly disapproved of, among other things. Amy always stayed vocal about her disagreements with the family and ended up earning the title of ‘rebel.’ Amy said, signing off, “I never really felt up to the Duggar standard.”
