Welcome to Plathville: Season 2 Trailer Features Split-Up Of The Family
The network released the official trailer for season 2 of Welcome to Plathville. According to an exclusive sneak peek released by People, we see Kim and Barry Plath revealing that their family is split into three. They shared that they’ve moved out of their idyllic farm into a house closer to town and now, exist as three separate households. The speculations are rife that the couple’s new house is very close to that of son Ethan and his wife Olivia.
The fans might recall that Kim and Barry raised their brood of nine children in a rural part of south Georgia. The family stayed out of touch with the latest technology in order to inculcate traditional values in their future generations.
Moriah Is Happy To Lead A Life Of Freedom, Micah Pursuing Modelling
The official trailer teases a few big changes coming up in the next season. It features Olivia and Ethan moving out to live on their own. On the other, Micah and Moriah are out to pursue their respective careers and lives. At one point in the video clip by People, Micah asks Moriah about one thing she loves staying away from parents. She bluntly responds that she’s getting the freedom to live the way she wants. She has had hated rules and this life is lovely.
Moriah reveals about working on two jobs as a fitness instructor at the same time. She also unveils that her parents’ home feels like a cage to her. Micha, on the other hand, is pursuing his modeling career. He shared that he is allowed to meet his younger siblings under supervision only. Apparently, his lifestyle choices do not make him stand in good stead. Ethan and Olivia are totally out of touch with the family. They’ve asked Kim and Barry not to contact them.
Ethan Is Concerned Over Plath’s New House Being Very Close To His
The video clip features Ethan expressing his concern over Plath’s new house. It is very close, around 3 miles, from his place. He says that the more he and Olivia try to distance and make space for themselves, the closer family tries to come to them. Towards the end, we see 16-year-old Lydia going on her knees to pray so that God helps Ethan and Olivia. She also says that it is hard to see her family split up.
Season 2 of Welcome to Plathville premieres Nov. 10 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
