Joy-Anna, 22, and hubby Austin, 26, are expecting their second child together. In the latest development, Joy-Anna shared an Instagram story at a fireworks show with her son Gideon, 2. In the video, she is flaunting a black tank top with a long skirt. This is by far the second time when the TLC star broke the Duggars dress code. The last time she did this was in May when she wore a tank top. It is known that Duggar women are not allowed to wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, pants, and skirts and dresses above the knee.

Joy-Anna’s choice of the rebellious outfit came amidst the rumor that the couple is getting away with the Duggar family. In the trailer for the upcoming season of the show, the couple has a limited presence. Moreover, they were snubbed from the promo image as well. The two seem to follow in the footsteps of Jill and Derick Dillard, who stopped appearing in 2017 after they developed issues with Jim Bob, the patriarch of the Duggar family.

According to Derick, Bob withheld the money from the appearances of the adult children on the show. He also claimed that Derick and Jill are not allowed in the Duggar mansion without Bob’s permission. Derrick previously gave a statement: “I think he’s mainly worried about the influence we might have on his children.”
He continued that the family feud has restricted them to see less of other family members. At the same time, Derrick added that the couple tries their best to invite their brothers and sisters-in-law over as much as they can come. He further shared that he hopes that “God would restore relationships where there is brokenness.”
