Jinger Duggar Vuolo added that she has come to terms with it now. She was scared after her marriage, especially for the first two years. She would fear people’s judgment. Her thoughts spiraled, leading her down a dark path. Jinger criticized herself even though she knew she was being unfair to herself. She further told people what to do in this situation from personal experience. The celeb also revealed that the people around her helped her to cope.

Jinger married Jeremy Vuolo in 2016. She shared that she had difficulty adjusting to her new life after marriage. She had people-pleasing tendencies, which increased over time. Jinger would judge herself for everything and become passive. She wanted to be in everyone’s good books and lost herself in the process. She wanted to be the peacemaker, and the pattern continued.
Jinger further shared that there were times when she wanted to speak up, but she could not. She was scared of being seen in a bad light and felt trapped. She further shared, “I was like, ‘That’s not who I am.’ Or, I wanted to say something, but I was too afraid to say anything.” This continued for years, and she started isolating herself. She was lonely, and then she realized what she had lost.
Jinger accepted that she had lost her spark. Two years into her marriage, she woke up. She remembered feeling scared of everyone and having trust issues, a considerable part of which arose from being in the public eye. She was even afraid to step out for coffee or tea. Jinger further added, “I was embarrassed about that.” Suddenly, she woke up with a jolt and wondered, “Who am I? What do I believe about certain topics?.”
Jinger accepted that she was even scared to talk to Jeremy. She tried to keep up her perfect wife mentality. However, he helped her. Jeremy further helped her to rediscover herself.
