Sister Wives star Meri recently lashed out at Kody for his financial partiality. She accused him of trying to give her a lesser share of funds and property. Why, you ask. Kody reasoned his unequal distribution of funds with Meri having only one child. The latter also explained how the Brown family funds did not help her child, Leon, in any way. She had to pay for them, and Kody never blinked an eye.
Meri discussed the unequal distribution of funds with her friend, Jenn Sullivan. She revealed details on how the money was never equally distributed. Kody always clearly favored Robyn over his other wives. But it’s now when his other three wives, Meri, Jenelle, and Christine, started voicing their opinions.
Sister Wives: Kody Blames Meri For Drifting Apart From Him & Changing After Marriage
Kody once held the authoritative position of the Brown household. That was until his three wives left him for good and started their lives afresh. In one of the episodes of Sister Wives, Kody blamed Meri for changing over the years. Even though they were married, he elaborated on how the reality star would cover herself before him.
The intimacy in their marriage dulled over the years, and Kody blamed Meri for it. However, the latter did not take the blame and stood up for herself. She questioned Kody about how he could reveal such an intimate detail in front of the media. The celeb claimed she obviously would hide herself. Even though the duo weren’t married, they were spiritually connected. They had no intimate relationship as husband and wife.
Sister Wives: Meri Reveals Kody’s Double Standards In Terms Of Funds & Property Division In The Family
In the recent episode of Sister Wives, Meri unleashed her frustration over Kody’s partiality. Viewers know about the latter’s unequal distribution of time and love, but now it’s over funds. Meri told Jenn that her ex was unwilling to give her an equal share of their family’s Coyote Pass property. He reasons over the fact that Meri has only one child, Leon, and the other wives have more children.
Kody told her, “Well, you don’t need as much because you don’t have as many kids.” He also isn’t willing to give her the funds she had helped with. Meri recollected that the ‘funds she helped with went to kids’ college went to the property. As the founder of Lizzie’s Heritage Inn, she contributed to the family’s fund account. She once shared the fund account with Kody and his other wives.
The family funds helped the other kids. It was from their family funds that the kids’ college fees were paid. But when it came to her child, she did it all alone. Meri claimed, “I know that my kiddo’s school was not taken care of from the family fund.” She stated that she helped all the children with their college fees.
In addition, the family funds never benefitted her only child, Leon. She paid for their college and car. However, Kody tried to brush it under the carpet. He reasoned that they had 18 kids to look after. He later shut the topic down because he did not want to ‘discuss’ it. For more reality news, check out TV Season & Spoilers.
