How much did they sell it for?! Keep reading to know.
Sister Wives: Kody & Robyn Were Struggling To Sell Flagstaff Home For $1.6 million!
Over the years, Kody and Robyn have often shown off their lavish life. Fans soon realized it’s only possible because of the family pot where all the Sister Wives except stay-at-home Robyn contribute to. Then, when the family fallout happened, Kody and Robyn made headlines for wanting to sell their Flagstaff house in 2019 for $1.6 million!
The place is 4,476 square feet on a 2-acre lot. Robyn and Kody’s property is quite secluded on a ridge behind towering pines. It boasts five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a heated driveway. While they meant to sell the property for 1.6 million, they did so for 1.8 million! However, this profit won’t be beneficial for them because of their mortgage and legal woes.
Sister Wives: Kody & Robyn Sell Their Flagstaff Home On A Profit But Won’t Benefit From It! Here’s Why
Back in 2019, Kody and Robyn were excited to start their new life in Flagstaff, Arizona. So, they purchased a home for themselves and Robyn’s five kids for $890,000, so when they attempted to sell it for 1.6 million first, it would lead to a profit of 710,000. However, they ended up selling the place for an even bigger price i.e., $1.8 million.
This means that the Sister Wives stars ended up profiting by selling their old house for an additional $200,000. So, now their total profit is $910,000. Despite this, none of the funds would end up benefitting the couple. That’s because Kody and Robyn recently purchased a new house for $2 million when fans expected them to downgrade.
Moreover, the couple also got a mortgage for the same for the next 30 years. If that wasn’t all, Kody and Christine are to show up in court in December to fight a legal court case concerning co-parenting their minor daughter truely and her child support. So, if we take all these factors into consideration, Kody hasn’t made much of a profit by selling the old Flagstaff home.
There are also rumors about Kody and Robyn starting a new equestrian business. If that’s the case, the couple will end up going further in debt. What do you think of this theory? Tell us in the comments below. Keep an eye on TV Season & Spoilers for more Sister Wives updates.
