Gypsy Rose Has This Advice For Menendez Brothers!
Just like Gypsy Rose, another high-profile criminal case has been making headlines these days. It involves Lyle and Erik Menendez. They are in prison for the murder of their parents, Jose and Mary Menendez, in 1989. The siblings were convicted in 1996, with the prosecution arguing that the murders were premeditated. The brothers claimed they acted in self-defense due to a history of abuse.
Now, new evidence has emerged that may support their claims of abuse and could impact the understanding of their motives. This includes potential testimonies from family members and mental health professionals that were not presented in the original trial. Hence, in an interview, Gypsy Rose was asked about this case. Well, she just had advice for the Menendez brothers. Without taking sides, she just had one thing to say.
Gypsy admitted that after serving in the prison for seven years, it was very hard to adjust to the real world. So, she advised them to “take their time” and get “well adjusted” to the outside world. The reality TV star also wanted them to get therapy as it was an important thing to do in such a day and age. While both Gypsy and the Menendez brothers have similar experiences, they have been in prison longer than she was.
