Meri Brown seems like a new person in the new Sister Wives season. She was the one who was stuck by Kody Brown the longest, no matter how much mistreatment she had to face. But everyone loves the confident side of hers and keeps cheering her on for choosing her happiness. But things do get taxing when she has to Kody and Robyn.
In the last season, Kody and Robyn tried very hard to keep her from leaving the plural family. But when she ended up choosing herself, it ruined her bond with them. Now that she is living life on her own terms, Meri is being outspoken about a lot of things. In a new episode, she admitted not wanting to be the monogamous couple’s third wheel! What made her say so?
Sister Wives: Meri Is Finally Done With Kody & Robyn!
As mentioned before, Sister Wives fans are loving Meri’s new avatar. She is very sure of her newfound freedom and has been speaking her mind. The star is doing so on her own terms without protecting or defending anyone, especially Kody and Robyn. When Christine and Janelle had decided to part ways with the polygamist, Meri was on Robyn and Kody’s side.
In fact, Meri has been the one wife who stayed with them the longest until she didn’t. Now that she is a free bird, the star has been upfront about all the unfairness she had to deal with. She is talking about the plural family situation and how she doesn’t want anything to do with Kody and Robyn. In a new video, Meri refused to be the third wheel! Here’s what happened.
Sister Wives: Meri Has Quit Being The Third Wheel For Kody & Robyn!
Meri appeared in the brand new Sister Wives clip. She talked about how Kody and Robyn wanted her over for Thanksgiving. She admitted to being there last year but didn’t feel like going that year. The ex-polygamist came up with an absurd reason. He said that Robyn doesn’t like to act like a husband and wife in front of Kody’s other wives, and he doesn’t want to “be fair to them” and be sensitive to them.
Meri shot back at this claim. She admitted hearing that Kody is not affectionate with Robyn multiple times because it is awkward in her presence. The star said she was not going to “inhibit” that. After all, Meri is no longer a part of the plural family, so she really didn’t want to go to their Thanksgiving and “be a third wheel.” Fans lauded Meri for her statement.
They agreed with her and admitted how much sense she was making. They were glad that she was seeing things for how they were. The audience could tell that the entire situation was making her awkward, so she decided it would be better for her not to go instead. Everyone has been very proud of Meri for speaking her truth this way.
Fans have seen Kody and Robyn as the ultimate villains of the show for so many seasons. So, it’s very soothing for them to have other cast members call them out for their biased and absurd behavior. Meri is doing exactly that. Keep an eye on TV Season & Spoilers for more Sister Wives updates.
