Meghan Markle: Royal Expert Comments on Meghan’s Treatment
Michael Cole revealed, “It’s really hard to puzzle where it all went so badly wrong.” Cole added, “She could not have been welcomed more into this country or the Royal Family.” Additionally, the royal expert also discussed Meghan’s “estranged” relationship with her father. He revealed how King Charles offered to walk her down the aisle since her father, Thomas, is estranged from her.
Moreover, Cole noted how most members of her family are also estranged from Meghan Markle. However, the late Queen made an effort to befriend Doria, Meghan’s mother. In 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan broke the news about their step to quit royal life. The Sussexes have been living with their two children in the United States. Furthermore, their relationship with the royal household has not been the same since then, with various reports surfacing about their situation.
In April, the Duke of Sussex officially renounced his British residency and declared the United States as his new home. The revelation came to light by paperwork filed with Travalyst, the sustainable travel organization Harry founded in 2019. This change in residency status was reflected in filings published by Companies House. The US-based royal has marked the United States as his “New Country/State Usually Resident.”
The change replaced the previous designation of the United Kingdom. Had the royal family never liked Meghan, or had she made it look so? What’s your take on the matter? Please let us know in the comments. Keep reading TV Season & Spoilers for your daily fix of exciting royal news.
