Yaaay! Elizabeth Hendrickson is now a mom. The actress who portrays Chloe in The Young and the Restless, along with her husband, has welcomed their first child. They have been blessed with a daughter who they have named Josephine James. The baby was born at 9:22 a.m. on Friday. The baby is healthy and beautiful, weighing 6lb. 11 oz and measures 20 inches.
Hendrickson Thrilled About Josephine
In an interview with PEOPLE, the actress said that they were thrilled. They are really excited to introduce their little Josephine James Meder to the whole world. She went on to say that the baby is perfect in every way. The news came one day after Hendrickson shared that she had checked into the hospital on her social media.

In the same interview with PEOPLE, the actress talked about how they dealt with everything the COVID-19 Pandemic. She said that when they were dreaming about the birth of their first child, words like ‘shelter in place’ and social ‘distancing’ are usually not in the picture. Yet they had to think about all of that. She went on to say that for over a month, the couple had been trying to focus on things that they could control. They reminded themselves that they were lucky and stayed positive.
Further on, she thanked all the nurses, midwives, and all the other staff at UCLA Santa Monica. She thanked all of them for being at work and putting themselves at risk when all of us need it most. She called them lifesavers.
Husband Rob Couldn’t Be In The Delivery Room
The actress revealed that everything was moving so rapidly. The couple decided that it was safe if they get there safely before Husband Rob wouldn’t be allowed. Other places like New York and San Francisco are doing it, not allowing the partners in the delivery room due to the ongoing COVID-19 concerns.
However, to their hard-luck. Twenty minutes before reaching the hospital, all the midwives were instructed that only Mothers could go in the delivery room. So, Rob had to leave. She continued that they were both heartbroken. Although she was in incredible hands. The actress went on to praise her midwife Didi and called her a dream. She also praised her nurse Andra and called her awesome. She also said that she knows that everyone in the maternity ward will support her.
Concluding it, Hendrickson gave her support to all the mothers who have faced getting separated from their partners at the time of delivery just like her. She said that she couldn’t even imagine doing it alone. The actress revealed that she had brought ukulele to keep herself busy. She had music playing and lavender diffuser brewing. She just keeps an eye on the price she said. Then a gorgeous baby came into her arms.
