The Winder families were among the first ones to depict their storyline in Seeking Sister Wife. They joined the show from Season 2 and back then, it was just three of them. This included Colton, i.e., the polygamist, and his sister wives Tami and Sophie. All three of them were on a quest to add another woman to their clan.
So, the season featured how the new woman i.e., Kimberly tried to make space for herself in the Winder family. Alas, by the time things wrapped up, luck wasn’t in their favor, and she left. The Winders haven’t appeared in more seasons, either. But there is a buzz going around on the internet that they might just be adding a third woman to their family! Is that true?
Seeking Sister Wife: Is The Winder Family Welcoming Another Wife? Moving Away From Their Home
Winder Family took part in Seeking Sister Wife when it had just begun to air on TV. They joined the show from Season 2. Colton, with his wife Tami and Sophie, were living on a farm. The former couple had already welcomed their first child, Sadie, by that time. In the season, Sophie also announced her pregnancy and has since welcomed the baby.
All three of them were courting Kimberly to join the family. But it didn’t work out. So, they decided to change their priorities and decided to expand their family by having more kids. While Tami and Sophie each had one child with Colton, the former welcomed one more daughter with him. As per their latest update, Sophie is pregnant with her second baby now.
A Reddit user shared how they saw the Winder family’s house was on Zillow in the “for sale” category. Many Seeking Sister Wife fans began to speculate if the family wanted more space because they finally wanted to welcome another woman. But some felt that now that they were having so many kids, they must have thought it would be better to move to a bigger space.
In any case, the Winder family has not yet revealed the reason for their move. In fact, they rarely give updates about their current family dynamics since their exit from the show. Fans suspect that it must be because they didn’t add the drama quotient to the show and seemingly lived comparatively less dramatic lives than the rest of the plural families.
Seeking Sister Wife: Why Didn’t TLC Call The Winder Family Back For A New Season?
The Winder Family seemed quite decent compared to all other plural families who starred in Seeking Sister Wife. However, they only starred in two seasons before bidding adieu to the reality TV realm. While fans keep track of their everyday life though their social media handles, they often wonder why the family didn’t return for more seasons of the show.
There have been speculations about the same. Many feel that the concept of the show has always been welcoming new spouses into the family. But the Winders got vocal about changing their priorities and focussing on having babies instead of looking for new wives. Hence, TLC might have thought their storyline wouldn’t have brought in the views and didn’t have them on the show.
Do you think the Winder family has a chance of making a return if they ever decide to welcome new members to their family? Would you watch their storyline? Tell us in the comments below. Keep an eye on TV Season & Spoilers for all the latest Seeking Sister Wife updates.
