Prison is brutal, especially if you come from an affluent, high-class background. You have to live among some very dangerous criminals and have to adjust to a lack of resources. This is why the Chrisley Knows Best couple, Todd and Julie, are having a hard time.

They were in separate prison facilities, but people thought they could still communicate with each other. However, in a shocking discovery, fans found out Todd and Julie haven’t talked with each other since they went to their prisons.
Chrisley Knows Best: Julie & Todd Haven’t Conversed Since Going To Prison
Julie and Todd have always gotten what they wanted. Being millionaires, they never had a shortage of anything. So prison is a very difficult place for the Chrisley Knows Best pair. But they have spent close to 13 months in the place now. However, it doesn’t get any easier.
Both the stars are in separate prison facilities. Todd serves his time in a Florida facility, whereas Julie is in Lexington, Kentucky. Though the pair served jail time separately, fans always assumed they might have had some means of interaction. Fans thought they could somehow talk to each other, at least sometimes. So, they were shocked when they learned that Todd and Julie hadn’t spoken since their imprisonment.
Julie and Todd haven’t talked for the 13 months they have been in prison. RadarOnline learned from a source that the prison authorities denied the Chrisley Knows Best couple communication rights. They also revealed that the pair’s lawyers had requested the communication rights according to standard procedures.
However, there is a small clause. Apparently, married couples can talk only if their individual wardens approve. Julie’s warden approved the lawyer’s request, but Todd’s didn’t. Insider reports state the warden denied the request in retaliation. Todd and her daughter, Savannah, have been talking a lot about awful living conditions in prison. So, a prison representative revealed the denial was “for privacy, safety and security” reasons.
Chrisley Knows Best: Julie Has A Chance For An Early Prison Release
Savannah Chrisley had Todd and Julie’s attorney, Alex Little, as a guest on her Unlocked podcast. The attorney had answered fan questions about the Chrisley Knows Best stars’ upcoming appeal hearing. Fans were curious if the Chrisleys could get their sentences reduced. Unfortunately, Little revealed that the chances for it were pretty “slim.”
However, there is some good news. Little revealed Julie could have a chance for an early release. This might be possible because of the “errors” in Julie’s original hearing. But even if Julie gets a resentence “in summer or the fall,” it would be a short sentence. And if the court gave her a 3-year sentence, she still has a chance to be out “sometime next year.”
But all scenarios are still some of the available “options,” according to Little. He was being hopeful but realistic about the hearing. But there is still a chance for Julie to come home “this year, (or) early next year” if the Judge considers the First Step Act. Read the latest Chrisley Knows Best news on TV Season & Spoilers.
