Teen Mom: Ryan’s Girlfriend Amanda Needs To Pay $225k Penalty For Injuring People
Apparently, Amanda has been to the court before as well. She had gone there to support her boyfriend and Teen Mom star Ryan in his case. But in March 2023, she had her own legal troubles. Amanda may have severely injured a few people on the road because of her ‘driving.’
The US Sun’s reports state Amanda had caused a car accident on March 20, 2023. She had even injured two people who had sued her for $150,000 and $75,000 for their injuries. According to the court documents, the accident occurred on July 11, 2022. In the case, the plaintiffs, Nancy and Pamela, drove West on Northpoint Boulevard.
Nancy and Pamela had then turned left to Highway 153, as it was a green light. At the same time, Amanda was going “North on Highway 153.” She then pulled out of a “private driveway” without warning and drove it onto the highway. This was where Amanda didn’t see the red light and rammed into Nancy and Pamela’s car’s driver’s side. They had described Amanda as a “homeless resident.”
The collision had caused very severe injuries to Nancy and Pamela. Pamela had many injuries on the “neck, upper, mid, and lower back.” On the other hand, Nancy’s were on the “neck and (the) right shoulder.” The injuries permanently impaired both of them, so they demanded the aforementioned amount for compensation.
According to court papers, the Teen Mom star’s girlfriend was guilty of “common law negligence in the operation” of her car. However, the Plaintiffs soon requested the court to dismiss the case in April 2023, and the court acquesied.
90 Day Fiance: Amanda’s Son & His Lost Custody
Amanda had a son in her second marriage with Brandon Hancock, Brandon Scott Hancock II. Brandon and Amanda divorced; however, neither had custody of their kid then. Apparently, Amanda’s dad, Jesse, was her son’s custodian.
The Teen Mom star’s girlfriend had been in prison in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2014. At the same time, her then-husband Brandon was also serving his time in Hamilton County for a “probation violation.” So Amanda’s dad Jesse got Brandon Hancock II’s custody. According to “Juvinke Court Orders,” Amanda and Brandon lost custody because they were in prison and were negligent in their child’s “development.”
Amanda had contested for a temporary parenting plan. But the court revealed that it could not override “Juvenile Court Orders.” Her son doesn’t appear much on her Instagram as well. Catch up on the newest Teen Mom news on TV Season & Spoilers.
