EastEnders star Harriet Thorpe has gotten a new role outside Walford, joining forces with other soap actors. Known for playing Elaine Peacock on the London-based soap, Harriet surrounds herself with new folks this time. She will be joining the Weatherfield gang for the staging of the musical “Gypsy.” The squad includes Coronation Street favourites Jodie Prenger ((Glenda Shuttleworth) and Peter Gunn (Brian Packham). As a charity gig, the crew will hit up Manchester Opera House for a one-night-only extravaganza. The Elaine actor will portray Tessie Tura, while Corrie’s Jodie will lead the cast as Mama Rose. Moreover, Hope Mill Theatre is producing an exclusive show with Peter Gunn playing Mr. Goldstone. Also, look out for Emmerdale star Tom Lister and the drag queen Divina de Campo making guest appearances!
