In EastEnders, surprises are as common as street lights. The soap thrives on drama. Even the calm and sad moments can spiral into a whirlwind of twists and turns. In a similar fashion, Aunt Sal’s funeral will see a jolting secret getting unveiled. As the Mitchells gathers to perform the final rites of their aunt, Sam learns something shocking. What’s this shocking news? Could it be something that could shake everything up for Phil and his wife-to-be, Kat? Read on as spill the tea on Phil’s scandalous secret.
Sam Exposes Phil’s Deed!
Next week on EastEnders, Sam Mitchell will expose Phil’s betrayal before his wife and dear ones. Last year, Phil stabbed Kat in the back just days before their wedding when he slept with Lola’s mum, Emma. However, Kat’s ex-husband Alfie somehow learned about it, for which he swore to secrecy. Did he?
The Mitchell family gets ready to attend Aunt Sal’s funeral. Kat worries as Phil keeps his emotions to himself. Sam demands the entire family to attend the funeral, especially Ben And Billy. However, Phil notices Sam’s sudden interest in the family isn’t aligning with her usual behaviour.
Sal’s husband, Harold Martin, joins the Mitchells at the funeral. His emotional eulogy reduced everyone to tears. His visit brings up a fortune for Sam, Phil, and Grant. Harold reveals that Sal has left behind £100,000 for them. Sam begs Phil for her share of the money, but he refuses. Sam, already angered by Phil, is shocked upon learning his dirty secret from Alfie. Without wasting any time, Sam heads back to Peggy’s to blackmail Phil, but the latter refuses to back down.
Later, it’s party time at the Vic on Phil and Kat’s joint birthday. There, Phil succumbed to Sam’s demands and later got into a candid talk with Kat. Sam turns out to be the party pooper. She grabs the mic and reveals that Phil slept with Emma!
EastEnders: Kim Echoes Sam’s Take On Phil
At the party, Kat finds herself reeling from the news. On the other hand, Sam heads out to see his son Ricky for moral support. However, Jack orders her to leave. Upon exiting, Sam faces a furious Phil, but Ricky intervenes in their argument. Later on, we see Kat finding solace in alcohol at the Vic.
Kim Medcalf (Sam Mitchell) spoke about the latest twist. She revealed that Sam finds out about it through Alfie’s comment about a woman at Sal’s funeral. Kim admitted that her character is evil, but Sam can’t stand a situation that reeks of hypocrisy. She elaborated, “Phil is walking around pretending that he’s cleaner than clean and supposed to be very much in love with Kat.” Kim added, “Sam thinks that he’s completely hypocritical, and his behaviour is far worse.”
Phil is up against the wall now that he’s been called out for his immoral act. What does the future hold for his marriage to Kat now? Keep returning to TV Season and Spoilers to catch the latest tea on EastEnders.
