Coronation Street Actress Gets Candid About On-Set Equation With Husband
Coronation Street star Sally Carman shared about sharing the set on Coronation Street with husband Joe Duttine. The couple got married last year. Sally is popularly known for her character Abi Franklin, while Joe plays Tim Metcalfe in the soap. She revealed that it isn’t all laugh and love. She added that she is happy not to share many moments with him on-screen, as he is so hilarious and makes it difficult to act. The Corrie star said, “I do tend to watch Joe’s stuff [in Corrie] at home, but sometimes it’s hard to get into it because he’s already told me everything about the filming of it.’
The Coronation Street pair began dating in the year 2018. After being captured at the soap’s summer party, they were a rumored couple for a long time. However, Sally officially announced that she had moved in with Joe in 2019. She wrote, “We’re in #homesweethome #thelightisntwonkyhonest.” The actress is a stepmother to Joe’s three children at the moment.
Talking about the children, the Abi actress shared, “They’re gorgeous kids; it’s so easy, and I feel really lucky to have that extension of a family.” She added that she is not trying to be a mother figure because they have got a mum, and they don’t need another. She stated, “I just want to have a relationship, and some part in their journey into adulthood is amazing.” For more Coronation Street updates, stay tuned to the TV Season & Spoilers!
