Kayla Meets A Mystery Man
The Days of Our Lives preview for next week open with Kayla Johnson coming in to check on a patient in the hospital. She introduces herself and gently asks the man his name. However, the charming patient smiles back at the doctor, and responds that he was hoping she would be able to tell him his name. Well, that is an odd response. But that sets the theme of Dick Van Dyke’s storyline on the peacock soap. His character is perhaps suffering from amnesia, since he can’t recall his name!
As the preview video for the week of August 28, 2023, progresses, Dick Van Dyke’s character tells Kayla that he is “on a very important mission.” Although he reveals nothing about the said mission. But then, if he has amnesia and can’t even remember his name, it is highly unlikely that he would actually remember anything about a mission assigned to him. If any at all. Since, there is also a possibility that he could be suffering from a medical condition that could be making him a little delusional about being on some sort of a mission. But we guess we will have to wait to find out!
Investigation Begins To Find Out Dick Van Dyke’s Identity On Days Of Our Lives
We are honestly very intrigued by this new track on the Peacock soap. The filming has been complete for quite some time, but the production has done well in keeping the story line well under wraps. However, some spoilers suggest that since Dick Van Dyke’s character won’t be able to recall anything about his identity or his past, the police will get involved. In fact, it could very well be Jada who originally brings Dick’s character to the hospital for a check up.
Thankfully, Kayla and Marlena will be willing to do their best to help him piece his memory back together. However, it will not be that easy and may involve a thrilling mission. The Days of Our Lives preview video reveals that America’s “National Treasure” will become a man of mystery in the upcoming episodes. Dick’s character tells Kayla in the promo that he needs to get out of the hospital as soon as possible. So there might even be a sequence where he escapes from the medical facility. Steve and John will also be lending their support in helping this mystery character make sense of his identity and mission!
