The Bold and The Beautiful has finally fast tracked the current track of Sheila and Bill’s shocking romance. It was recently revealed that Bill is secretly working with Ridge and the FBI to take down the she devil. Which means, we are approaching the end of Sheila’s track on the famous CBS soap. Moreover, this would lead the play field wide open for newer storylines to now spread wings. Perhaps this time around we can get to see what’s happening in the lives of some other poignant characters who haven’t taken center stage in a while now. Eric Forrester and Donna Logan are definitely on top of our watch list!
Luckily, there is a lot of hope for them to center stage on The Bold and The Beautiful. Especially after the interesting story idea actor John McCook (Eric) pitched in a char with Soap Opera Digest. While talking about his thirty-six years long journey as Eric on The Bold and The Beautiful, he spoke about this very specific character he would love to butt heads with. John pointed that now actor Patrick Duffy has been making more stints as Stephen Logan (Donna’s dad) on the CBS soap. And that he would love to cross swords with Stephen in his future storylines.
Stephen Logan on The Bold and The Beautiful is a wonderful dad and loves his daughters dearly. So while he may not have any bones to pick with Donna, the same cannot be said about Eric. It is completely plausible that Stephen might start to feel that Eric is not the right choice for his daughter. Thus, causing trouble in their love nest. This could make Eric come face to face with Donna’s dad to save his relationship. Moreover, The veteran The Bold and The Beautiful actor pointed that now everyone should get to see some other sides of Donna. Like how wise and strong she is.
“I’d love for the world to discover depth in her that no one to date has ever seen,” The Bold and The Beautiful star stated. It would be exhilarating to watch Donna stand up against her dad to defend her relationship with Eric. Well, we can totally picture this playing out quite nicely on the screen. Perhaps the writers of the CBS soap will take note of John Mccook’s idea and write it in! We are totally on board with it, are you? Tell us in the comments. Meanwhile, stay tuned to CBS over weekdays to see what happens next on The Bold and The Beautiful.
