Although it has been 16 years since the first episode premiered on TLC, the fan following of the show is continuously growing. Well, a new video of baby Josiah trying to talk has worried viewers. Keep reading to know more details.
Little People Big World: Tori Shares Video Of Baby Josiah Trying To Speak, Fans Compare It To Lilah’s Delayed Speech?
Jackson and Lilah have become the heart and soul of Little People Big World. A lot of LPBW fans only watch the show only for them. Now, they have another baby brother, Josiah joining them. Hence, the audience can’t stop gushing at the cuteness overload. However, Tori ended up sharing a video that made fans worried about baby Josiah. Apparently, the little one was trying to speak while his mother sang him a nursery rhyme. Well, some LPBW fans couldn’t help but compare the situation to Lilah. It turns out that Tori had opened up about her daughter’s speech delay in one of her posts.
Hence, the parents have been working with her and a speech therapist to make progress. That’s because the little one doesn’t speak as much as other 2-year-olds usually do. After looking at Josiah’s clip, they began to worry if he, too, had the same issue. Well, others were quick to point out that Josiah is merely an infant now. In fact, he is only three months old. Hence, it is quite common for babies to babble and gurgle at this stage. Therefore, there is no speech issue with the youngest Roloff family member. However, he does have an issue with his tongue. Tori revealed that babies that are little people have bigger tongues, and it takes time for them to get used to it. As far as Lilah is concerned, her elder brother Jackson had been assisting her in saying some simple words like “egg”. Hence, the Little People Big World fanbase gushed over this moment as Tori captured it.
Little People Big World: Tori Roloff Gets Candid About Lilah’s Speech Delay
As Little People Big World began its premiere, Tori and Zach Roloff stated their daughter Lilah isn’t much of a talker. In fact, the little one would only often say a few things. This included “mama, dada, Lilah, Jackson, and dog-dog”. LPBW fans took to their social media to ask the young mother more about this. That’s when Tori stated that Lilah is “definitely delayed” in speech. However, the parents had begun to work on this with a speech therapist as per the instructions of their pediatrician. They encourage her to talk more. Moreover, they also stop their elder son Jackson from answering for her.
With this, Tori Roloff stated that “water in the back” of Lilah’s eardrums could be a contributing factor to her delay in speech. However, she is still an efficient communicator. She doesn’t get frustrated when Zach and Tori don’t get her the first time. Both of them have been working with their little girl to make progress on a daily basis.
