Alexis has already started helping people at the prison. She recently offered her help to Maggie, her cellmate, with the appeal. Alexis might help other inmates, including her former flame Shawn Butler. Would Molly find a way to use this Alexis’ pro-bono work and possibly make it count as the community service? If Molly is able to get her mother an early release, she will be able to prove her potential as a lawyer not only to her mother but also to her professors. She has been involved in some legal cases earlier too. So, the next step for her might be freeing her mother. Will she be able to do what Diane Miller couldn’t?

General Hospital viewers know that Alexis had lost her control when she attacked Dante Falconeri. However, he wasn’t the planned target. He had even told the court about it. Alexis wasn’t thinking clearly because of her alcoholism. However, Alexis does have a disease, and for her, the treatment for it might be a better option instead of prison. Initially, Alexis pleaded guilty because she deserved this. However, now that she is in prison, her thoughts might change.
Suppose Molly realizes that Nikolas Cassadine has involved Cyrus Renault in the whole thing but allowing him to protect her. Molly could be more determined than ever to get out of prison. Will Nikolas be the reason why Molly would find out a reason to bring Alexis out of prison? It is possible. It looks like Molly might be able to find out a loophole that would bring Alexis out of prison. This will indeed make an interesting storyline.
