Thus, it wasn’t shocking for the fans when the 32-year-old pointed out that her husband has a drinking problem and dragged him down publically. On New Year’s Eve, the 32-year-old star shared some pictures and videos of her family gathering on Instagram. While the entire family seemed happy while dining together, Evelin appeared to be missing her husband in the festive time. She captioned, “where is my husband? Take a guess”. Shortly after this, she seemingly shared another IG story of the sky filled with fireworks and tagged Corey. But she soon deleted it.
Thanks to blogger John Yates as he took the screenshot of the post and reposted it on IG. The story reads, “Corey got drunk, like always.” Villegas revealed that Rathgeber has already been booked for DUI, and still, he’s drinking a lot. Meanwhile, Evelin has been handling this issue all alone. TV Season & Spoilers highlights that the TLC celebrity added that she couldn’t keep helping him as his family didn’t care about it. She further asked her 203k followers about ways to contact probation lawyers.
As per her now-deleted story, she wanted her husband to return to the United States to deal with her alcohol problem. She further revealed that her husband had drunk and driven on New Year Eve too. Evelin and her family had only asked him to pick some pork for them. But unfortunately, they waited for three long hours while Corey seemed busy drinking and returned wasted in front of everybody. She added that this is something that a couple’s therapy session or travel can’t fix it. She later posted another story sharing the definition of alcoholism and directing to “family means a lot.”

After getting fame from the 90 Day Fiance franchise, the Ecuadorian star is now keeping up with her followers by updating more about their social lives. After opening her bar, Evelin announced that she was once again starting a new venture in a different place. The TLC celeb announced that she needs a “volunteer chef.” Though it sounds like a good opportunity, fans found it a little bizarre. She later revealed that she wouldn’t pay the person who works for her.
Instead, she would only provide free accommodation, surfing lessons alongside drinks. Shortly, her followers accused her of practicing slave labor. It’s quite weird nowadays to get labor, especially when a certified and experienced chef. However, someone commented that they shouldn’t use such words against a star. But the same commenter added that free labor sounds like an insult to a certified chef.
