Sister Wives Season 15: The finale of season 14 ended on what seemed like a cliffhanger. Was this a hint that there is going to be another season? After all, Kody, Janelle, and Christine were sitting on a couch throwing out unresolved issues! Let’s take a detailed look.
Sister Wives: Where Were The Other Two Wives In The Season Finale?
One thing that Sister Wives fans promptly noticed is that the other two wives, Meri and Robyn were missing from the final scene. Two major adults of the series missing from the final conversation have given rise to a lot of chatter online. Not only that, but the first and the fourth wife also missed Maddie’s birth.
The generic excuse stated that Robyn had her hands full considering that she has little kids to take care of. As for Meri, the reason was that she was busy in her business. Of course, fans didn’t buy it. Most viewers blame Kody’s insensitive behavior towards Meri in the therapist’s office for her absence.
As for Robyn, we saw that she had multiple fights with Kody this season. Moreover, on one of her tweets, she also implied that Kody tried to pit her and Meri against each other. Robyn has also called Kody out for being a drama queen. All in all, the two wives with whom Kody has had the most issues this season were absent from the final scene.
Sister Wives Season 15: Was The Season Finale Thrown Together
When the Sunday night’s episode aired, not once did they use the term finale. Initially, there were supposed to be 16 episodes in this season. However, the current season aired only 15 epsiodes. There is a chance that the 16th one could have been a Tell All segment. The reality TV stars shoot the Tell All episodes sometime after filming the regular episodes. So, there is a possibility of their filming plans being ruined by the Coronavirus outbreak.
Sister Wives Seson 15: Kody Hopes For Fans To See Them Soon
Kody, Christine, and Janelle thanked the fans for tuning in with them. He added that he hopes they see them soon. This might indicate that even if it’s a goodbye, for now, there are high hopes for the renewal of the show.
The ratings for the show declined after season 11. To keep his family on-air, Kody accepted a major cut in the pay. TLC even pushed the time slot of Sister Wives to 10 PM after 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. However, fans stayed up and watched the show which prevented Sister Wives from going off-air.
In fact, Sister Wives secured a position on the top 10 in the list of 150 Sunday night shows. They occupied the eighth position on the list. These stats also indicate that there is hope after all for Sister Wives fans. But there hasn’t been any news about the crew following the family. Of course, social distancing has a major role to play this time.
