My 600 Lb Life: What Does Gina Krasely Have To Say About Weight Loss?
Gina was 28 years old when she first entered the show and weighed 606.7 pounds. She lived in New Jersey with her dog and her mom. She hated the fact that her weight has confined her in a chair and that she has to wake up with the same miserable feeling every day.
When Gina was growing up, she turned to food to seek relief from her trauma. She and her sister suffered a lot of abuse from their dad. Moreover, when their parents got divorced, they had to live with him. When Gina tuned 19, she weighed 500 pounds. At the time of her high school, she reached 450 pounds.
According to her, food was the only thing that helped her cope up with all the negative feelings. She acknowledges that being overweight has resulted in a strained marriage with her wife Beth. She says that if she doesn’t do something about it, she might die.
My 600 Lb Life: Gina’s Progress SInce Her Trip To Houston
Since My 600 Lb Life aired, the reality TV star has made some strides. We can say that the changes are not so dramatic as she doesn’t undergo any weight loss surgery. She moved to Texas for a year from New Jersey and dropped the 50 pounds to be approved for surgery.
Dr. Now’s fans know that he doesn’t like his patients to take the easy way. He makes them work for it as the first step. However, Gina gained about 13 pounds just before a day her surgery was supposed to be. This was a major setback for her. But Dr. Now gave her a second chance. He said that she can still hope for the approval if she manages to lose 75 pounds in the next three months.
Since her social media accounts don’t show much of her face and body, we can’t say for sure whether she has been successful in shedding the required weight. But we can always wish her well and hope for the best. Stay tuned for more news on your favorite My 600 Lb Life stars!
